A white globe resting on a half-moon of solid color — this sconce is a small piece of geometry for the wall. The curved base acts as a backdrop, so when the globe is lit it stands out crisply against the color behind it, and when it is off the two shapes still read as a deliberate graphic.
The base comes in six colors: black and cream white for a quiet, architectural look, or red, green, orange, and yellow when the room wants a note of color. Hung as a pair either side of a bed, or in two different colors down a hallway, it does the job of wall art and lighting at once.
It suits a bedroom, hallway, living area, or entryway. As with any wall-mounted fixture, plan on installation by a qualified electrician in line with local electrical code.
